Glenn Talbot is a highly respected leader in the fire protection and safety industry, with over 40 years of experience driving innovation, compliance, and risk management in fire safety.

Glenn began his career as a Trainee Fire Protection Engineer at Wormald Fire Systems before advancing through senior leadership roles in fire alarm and protection businesses, including State Manager at Simplex International and General Manager at Wormald. When Tyco acquired Simplex globally, Glenn played a pivotal role in integrating operations across the Asia-Pacific region, managing multiple businesses in fire safety, including sensor and fire panel manufacturing, and fire product distribution.

As the Founder and Managing Director of Verified, Glenn has spent the past 20+ years transforming fire compliance, contractor management, OH&S safety verification, and visitor management for over 14,000 sites across Australia and New Zealand. His expertise in fire system maintenance, regulatory compliance, and technology-driven risk mitigation makes him a sought-after voice in the industry.

Glenn holds an Associate Diploma in Applied Science and serves as an Independent Chair for Australian Standards, leading Committee FP-001, which oversees AS 1851 – Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment. His contributions extend to global safety advocacy, having served as President and Board Member of the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPAA) and representing the association at both local and international events.

A regular speaker at major industry forums, Glenn has delivered expert insights for organizations including the FPAA, Facility Management Association (FMA), Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association Australia (AMCA), and the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH).

Beyond his professional endeavours, Glenn is a commercial helicopter pilot (CPL-H) and travels extensively across Australia.
